It looked like a church on Sherman Way in Reseda from the outside. However, local residents became suspicious after seeing people coming and going from the location at all times of the day or night.

LAPD and SWAT officers got a search warrant and went in on the night of June 13 after getting numerous complaints about the illegal gambling.

Officers found dozens of arcade-like video gaming machines, which are popular in Asia and among illegal gamblers in the US. According to police, the location used to be a church, but was turned into a casino.

Nine people were arrested and 32 others were cited for the operation.
